So, we continue..

That's not mine, officer, really, I just stuffed it in my shorts for extra padding. My butt is so sore from.... riding, yeah....that's it. Lots and lots of riding. Everyday in fact. I must ride my bike seat - I mean bicycle - 2 or 4 times a day. It's very refreshing and keeps me in shape. Look at the glutes I have now.  I could crack a walnut in there, really.

I have agreed not to be such a hard ass when it comes to the start point of the ride. We can start wherever it works best. Allenhurst for south rides, Elberon for north rides. We started at Russo's because he has a habit of being late and missing things. We started 9:50, GARMIN TIME.

I'm gonna also apologize for trying to take you guys off-road. I though it would be fun and relaxing. A little slow-down, a little dirt and rocks and nice scenery - what's the big deal? But Mr "Jetty Rocks" white trash moron comes along and ruins it for me. You guys are just pussies.

So we made it around the Manasquan reservoir pretty easily.  15mph average for a 40-45mile ride.  We're getting to the point where we've been over most of the roads in the area, so now we star to repeat the rides a little.

More to come..

Ikey Threw Up.

Well, almost. Ikey Levy was right in there - on his flashy ITALIAN Pinarello, but at the end, on Drift Road near the asphalt plant, he almost puked up his guts. But like all little boys and girls, he swallowed it down and finished the ride in good shape.

At the start we were strong. Start at Azrak's house, a full roster: Franco, Laboz, Missry, Russo, Gindi, Levy, Levy, Dweck, Maleh and DAYAN! Murray brought his belly and his legs. He smoked us all in the final downhill stage at West Park ave. Some guys pulled out early in Rumson and did 20 miles, the rest went through Middletown, Tinton Falls, and ended with 35 miles.

So far, so good

We ride every Saturday. I'll post the ride here each week and anyone can come along. Every week, we are going to ride somewhere. I'll take suggestions, but each ride will be posted and decided upon by Friday.

Rides will meet at 9:45, and depart at 10:00am. I am going to keep the rides between 25 to 30 miles for now.  At 15mph, we should be getting back home around 12:30.

There is only one starting place. I'm not going to pick up from you mom's, sisters, uncles, from some corner on Ocean Avenue, from your tennis game, from shul, etc.. No bullshit. You wanna be a rider, get your ass to the start and don't cry about it.  Start location will be announced each week.
Here are some rules and suggestions:

Helmets. Bring your own and wear it. The wives want us to wear them, and we don't need to upset the wives any further.

Water. Bring enough. If you have two bottle cages on your bike, get two real water bottles. Little Poland Spring bottles just fall out of the bottle cages and cause accidents.

Pump. Keep your tires inflated to 100psi. If you have a pump at home, pump up before you get to the start. Tire lose air, so check them once a week.

Balls. Everybody should get some bike shorts.  Your balls are precious, and unless your wife keeps them in  a box for you, you need protection on the road. Buy some shorts and your balls will thank you.

Keep up. We go slow, 15mph,  so everyone can keep up. We will wait for mostly everyone at major intersections. If you do get dropped, you have to find your way home.

Thanks, and I'll post this week's ride soon!
